A photographer captured a rare phenomenon during a volcanic eruption in Chile.As if capturing a volcanic eruption wasn't incredible enough on its own, photographer Francisco Negroni got a moment above the Calbuco volcano in southern Chile when volcanic lightning started.The force of the eruption can cause the lightning due to ash particles with positive and negative charges flying into the air, according to reports. Volcanic lightning becomes more likely the hotter and the more intense the eruption gets, Forbes reported.Negroni won first prize in the Our World in Focus photo competition for getting "The Perfect Moment.""The eruption of the Calbuco volcano and its violent eruption caused fear in many sectors near the volcano, forcing the evacuation of more than 3,000 people," according to the photo description on the photo competition website.
