INTENSE VIDEO: Troopers pull man to safety seconds before crashed tractor-trailer explodes
Two New Jersey state troopers pulled a man out of a burning tractor-trailer on Monday afternoon seconds before it exploded, and it was all caught on a trooper's body cam.Trooper Robert Tarleton can be seen in the video speaking to a driver on the side of a New Jersey highway when he witnessed a tractor-trailer crash into a guardrail and bridge abutment nearby, according to New Jersey State Police.He returned the person's license and rushed to the scene in his cruiser.When Tarleton got there, another trooper who was on his way from work, New Jersey State Police Lt. Edward Ryer, also ran to the scene and was trying to pull the man out of the truck cab.The two worked together to quickly drag the man to safety. Seconds later, the truck exploded.The driver sustained only minor injuries and was taken to a medical center to be evaluated, according to New Jersey State Police.Watch the video above to see the intense rescue.
